The House System is designed to organize and enrich student life while allowing older students to have leadership opportunities. Hope Scholars Academy features C.S. Lewis Houses with each house named for a Narnia character.

The House System gives a “family group” within the school as each house contains students of different ages and grades. The House is led by an upper class student who is mentored by faculty.

House Chapel

House Chapel meetings are led by students for students. This is overseen by a mentor teacher. The House meetings are a safe place to share student struggles, joys and prayer requests. The Houses cheer each other on and pray for each other every Wednesday morning in House Chapel

House Competitions

Houses compete against each other in multiple fun competitions including baking challenges, party games, pool noodle hockey and more. Points add up to see which House wins the rights to the House Trophy for the year!

House Community Service

What is your House interested in? Where do you feel God’s heart for the world?

Once a quarter we go as a school to participate in house-led community service projects. The House leader helps the House plan the details for other students to join your House in the outreach of your choice.

From sorting clothes at Low Country Orphan Relief to serving lunch at an area underprivileged school to walking for water with Water Mission—whatever your House plans, we’ll come and serve with you!
