Student Activities

Student Activities are an important part of community life at Hope Scholars Academy. Montlhy dress-down days, Spirit week, off-campus activities, and other events add to joy we feel at Hope Scholars. The Spring Soiree is always a hit, with a formal dinner and dance featured one year and a murder mystery dinner another year.

Family Activities

Community is built among the families of Hope Scholars Academy through a variety of student and family events planned and run by Student Activities Committee. Events have included Moms' Night Out, Family Game Night, The Bake off, Field Day, Beach Day and Bowling.

Man Up

Man Up is a monthly father and son event hosted by the dads of Hope Scholars Academy. Each month all the men of Hope Scholars are invited to an activity that includes fun, food and a brief devotional. Previous events included Axe throwing, Beach day, Air jump and other fun events.

Spiritual Activities

Spiritual Community occurs through the day-long retreats held each semester. These retreats provide an opportunity for the students to get away, reflect on their year, and refocus on te person and work of Jesus in their lives. Retreats have been held on Seabrook Island, and James Island County Park.

Yearbook Club

Students have the opportunity to work on the school's yearbook staff, contributing to the creation of a memorable keepsake featuring highlights from the academic year. The yearbook is entirely student-created, with students working collaboratively on yearbook pages during designated meetings.
